“Prepare To Be Knocked Up”

http://www.webwombat.com.auIf you were entertained, laugh loud and enjoy the box office hit movie “The 40 Year Old Virgin”, I'm sure that you will also feel the same way with the movie “Knocked Up”. With the same director of this films, Judd Apatow applies the same approach and formula in his latest movie resulting in a very good combination of both comedy and drama within the movie. And as expected, Knocked Up became one of the most promising movie last summer all over the world hitting a U.S. Box office of $148,734,225.

Its main cast Katherine Heigl from the very popular drama series in the US “Grace Anatomy” plays the role of Alison Scott a 24-year-old and an up-and-coming entertainment journalist in the very well known TV entertainment network, the E! Entertainment Network as an on-camera interviewer. Colliding with her world was Ben Stone played by the superb comedian Seth Rogen. Ben was a pot-smoking slacker whose idea of a good time is to get whacked with his equally slack buddies and whose definition of "work" is watching movies with nude scenes on celebrity websites online.. When Alison went to a bar with her friends to celebrate her promotion, she met Ben and his slacker buddies. They drank and enjoyed the night together and even went home together in the place of Alison. Then shared an inevitable one-night-stand. The two are rolling around on her bed, with a misunderstanding on whether he should wear a condom or not. Two weeks after, morning sickness leads to a positive pregnancy test. Alison contacts Ben to give him the news. Then the 9 confusing months conflict of resolving this problem with Ben and Alison start. And then things get even more confusing and funnier when Alison's harried sister Debbie and hen-pecked brother-in-law Pete struggle in their life teaching them about parenting matters and raising a family. Find out more what will happen in the movie about the important decision in raising their child will come up to and how they can handle such situation.

Knocked Up includes plenty of laugh-aloud moments also some touching scenes nearly in the end of the movie. A lot of the jokes in this movie work because they are delivered perfectly with good timing. The movie last for a bit little long at 128 minutes. It was rated as “R” by the MPAA for its some sexual content, drug use and language. All-in-all this film is very good, I'm sure that you will laugh, laugh and laugh in watching this movie.
